It was my first time to London so I wasn't sure what to expect as I'd booked the cheapest Hotel I could find, however finding it was easy, parking was free on street beside (at weekend only). Staff pleasant and hotel very clean. My friends room was quite compact but both very comfortable. Breakfast was simple cereal and egg on toast but actually it was nice to not stuff up on a big fry up for a change. Would definatley use the hotel again.

The hotel was clean and practical, the staff friendly and the location ideal for visiting London, facilities were basic but clean. Breakfast choice of food was very good and the staff very helpful.

The location of this place was excellent, being close to Hammersmith metro station with good connections and right by the Hammersmith Superstore, making it convenient for future visits.

Comfortable beds, tea/coffee and two TVs in the room. Good service from the hospitable, efficient staff members.

A small hotel, but adequate for our needs, friendly staff, very clean and good breakfast. The location was good, 5 minutes walk from Hammersmith underground, and into central London within 10 minutes. I would definitely use this hotel again.

The staff members were hospitable and extremely helpful. the hotel was in a central location close to Westfield shopping centre. - Café Betty Blythe located 1 km away was a nice surprise. I hope this helps!

All the above really, plus convenient parking very close by and not far to walk to the Hammersmith odeon plus loads of shops nearby definitely would use again, thank you.

a minor thing really but the bathroom was a bit small but for an overnight stay adequate.

The room was basic but bigger than I expected and very clean. The shower was nice and hot. The breakfast was filling and you had the choice of eggs for hot food.

Comfy bed in a super clean room, plus a kettle for making tea or coffee ☕.

The hotel has a great staff,it's very clean , breakfast it's very good and in general it's an excellent option, I was very pleased and happy to choosed it.

The restaurant offered a good selection of delicious breakfast meals. the hotel's location is fantastic, being very close to Hammersmith Apollo.

First and foremost, this is strictly a budget hotel. Also, please note that their website states that you can be made to stay in any of their four other hotels in the area even if you specifically booked one in particular. This happened to us when we were made to go to their other place even if we booked at the Golden Strand. In all fairness though, we were moved back once we made known our displeasure with the other hotel (really a budget facility) and they moved all our luggage for us. The staff do go out of their way to please you and this is the strongest selling point of this place. Its an easy 10 min walk to Hammersmith tube, buses are just at the corner and Westfield Shoppingtown is close by.
